A social media campaign series for TfGM delivered to YouTube, FaceBook, Instagram and TikTok. The campaign acknowledges the rough time we have all had during the pandemic, but now It’s Time to start thinking positively about how we travel when getting back to work, re-connecting with friends and discovering new things we love do in and around the city.

Notes

Tami (director) wanted to inject more energy and pace into most scenes for phase two of the project. We shot handheld for the whole production, even when shooting on the trams and from the car to the bike.

The Cooke Mini lenses provided an outstanding balance of size and weight while offering a human character and image quality. We shot a little wider for most shots to place the audience with the character and inject the energy Tami wanted. The idea was to be on the journey with them and pull back to expand that action at appropriate points.

The entire campaign was shot with available light, using bounce sources and negative fill when possible.

We aspired to a softer, more organic feel to these films akin to 16mm film, which I hope comes across in the choice of lenses, filters and the grade - working under a Kodak film print LUT and adding a little grain into the final image.
